Welcome to Billvest Technology & Dev Limited and Billvest Multipurpose Cooperative Society (“Billvest”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, whether accessed through our mobile application (“App”) or website (“Site”).
By creating an account with Billvest, you agree to become a member of the Billvest Multipurpose Cooperative Society and adhere to the following Terms.
1. Membership and Account Registration
1.1 Membership Types:
– Service Members: Users who create an account on the App or Site to use our payment services for airtime, data, TV subscription, electricity payment, event tickets, and other related services.
– Paying Members: Users who pay a registration fee to participate in our investment opportunities, purchase shares, and engage in pool funding activities.
1.2 Eligibility:
– You must be at least 18 years old to register and use our services.
– By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
1.3 Account Security:
– You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
– You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Services Provided
2.1 Payment Services:
– Billvest offers services for bill payments, including airtime, data, TV subscriptions, electricity payments, and event tickets.
– All transactions are subject to the availability and policies of the respective service providers.
2.2 Investment and Cooperative Services:
– Paying Members can access investment opportunities, purchase shares, and participate in pool funding activities through the Cooperative Society.
– All investments are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific investment opportunities.
3. Fees and Payments
3.1 Service Fees:
– Some services may incur transaction fees, which will be clearly communicated to you before completing any transaction.
3.2 Registration Fees:
– Paying Members are required to pay a registration fee, the amount of which will be specified on the App or Site.
3.3 Payment Methods:
– We accept various payment methods as specified on the App or Site. You agree to pay all fees and charges incurred in connection with your account.
4. User Conduct
4.1 Prohibited Activities:
– You agree not to use the services for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, or any activity that infringes on the rights of others.
4.2 Compliance:
– You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines while using our services.
5. Termination and Suspension
5.1 Termination by User:
– You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions provided on the App or Site.
5.2 Termination by Billvest:
– We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any conduct that we determine to be inappropriate or harmful.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
6.1 Disclaimer of Warranties:
– Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
6.2 Limitation of Liability:
– To the fullest extent permitted by law, Billvest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the services; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the services.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
